Fender Strat Input Jack Wiring
The primary lead is the short lug that connects to the longer bent flange and the long lug is the power battery switch that connects to the short bent flange.

Choose the long thread jack for guitars and basses that have a thick top or control plate. A mono jack is suitable for most guitars. Take orange wires hot. With the switch open you have the high input and switch closed you get the low. The switch inserts a 33k 33k voltage divider which dumps half the guitar audio signal to ground just like a standard fender low input jack. Photo 3 photo 4.
